How did we win 12 games last year?

The schedule was definitely easier last year. But its not like we didn't beat some good teams.

We beat Arizona early in the year

We beat the Falcons

We almost beat the Giants without Kemo and Lewis

Despite the fact that it took a miracle pass, we beat the Chargers IN San Diego

We swept the Bucs (torched their run defense for more TDs in one game than they had let up all year)

We defintely didn't have a tough schedule last year but we played really well as a team. I don't have a problem with Delhomme playing out the rest of the year and up until this point haven't had a problem with him being the starter going into the following seasons. However, I know I'm not the only one that is fed up with the fact that we never have a contingency plan for who is to take over later.

Yea....easy schedule. Our hardest games...we lost. Lost to all the teams with winning records we played (playoff teams...Tampa falling apart doesn't count). This year...we don't have it so easy. We played arguably the best team in the NFC in Week 1 and we showed we aren't even in the conversation for playoffs this year.

This is easy. WE GOT LUCKY. We just as easily could have been 8 and 8, maybe 7 and nine. And an easy schedule played into that as well. Lets see.

* We beat the chargers with no time left

* we beat the packers with less than a minute left

* we beat the saints with a field goal with no time left

* the worst was the lions win....just as easily could have lost that one

Thats definitely 4 games last year that we could have lost just as easily.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy we won them but I think it shows who we are as a team. Get the lead, then play not to lose. Thats a Foxy thing.

good teams win those games, example last Monday night.
