This is easy. WE GOT LUCKY. We just as easily could have been 8 and 8, maybe 7 and nine. And an easy schedule played into that as well. Lets see.

* We beat the chargers with no time left

* we beat the packers with less than a minute left

* we beat the saints with a field goal with no time left

* the worst was the lions win....just as easily could have lost that one

Thats definitely 4 games last year that we could have lost just as easily.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy we won them but I think it shows who we are as a team. Get the lead, then play not to lose. Thats a Foxy thing.

Strong Team chemistry - smith puncing lucas = blessing in disguise

Dominant O-line - blue chip talent at 3/5 positions. Great back-ups.

Amazing Running backs - no need to explain.

Peaking at the right time - we only lost to playoff teams. We played well against good teams. We had some games against powder puffs where we could afford to play like doody.

and last but not least...STEVE SMITH

I do remember some luck, but to win 12 games in the NFL you have to be a good team.

My question is, what has happened?

We're being outcoached. Hopefully they will get it in gear and call some plays that aren't predictable and we'll have some impressive victories this season.

We also need to execute better at multiple positions.

We are a good team with unbelievable starting talent at multiple positions (especially offense) and if/when we get it together we will be contenders this year.

What do you call Steve smith dominanting DBs to make those circus catches with the saints and packers...go tell him he's just "lucky"

Go tell Jake delhome that two minute drill was based off "luck"

And yeah we could of lost to the lions if we hadn't of totally dominated on the ground and made plays on defense.

You essentially saying, "If we hadn't of made plays and performed well we wouldn't have been a good team". How insightful.

Luck is involved in all parts of life, you don't go 12-4 based off of luck.

Well we did have an easy schedule and we won last year in spite of Jake (remember the Oakland game)? This year we are losing because of him. And to the previous poster, there was a lot of luck in the GB win as well as AZ. Sure Smitty makes acrobatic catches a lot, but there's still some luck involved. We would have lost the AZ game had Warner not forced it into triple coverage and Beason picked it off down by the goal line. Hell we could have easily lost the Detriot game too.
