Nothing Will be the Same

Its been, what, 13 years? We have patiently waited for our time again and that time is upon us. When the final whistle blows, ending the 4th quarter, things will never be the same. Despite the outcome, things will change forever. 

 

Should the Panthers win (and they should) the team will go down as one of the greatest in league history. The expectations will be through the roof. #dynastyorbust will be a thing. Wave after wave of injuries and we still displayed the most dominant preformance in the modern era. With guys returning from injuries to our available cap space next season, both sides of the ball will be expected to be better. 

 

The Panthers lose. History repeats itself. All fan confidence in the team is lost. This was our best shot at a ring and we couldnt deliver. The trust is gone. Another deep playoff run next season? Yawn. We all know how it would go. 

 

But the game hasn't even started yet. The Panthers are 17-1 and are about to play in the super bowl. The season has been absolutely nothing but mother fuging spectacular. The MVP of the NFL lives in Charlotte. Enjoy the moment.

I think this team will be in a position to contend for years to come.

A win today makes the panthers one of the top super bowl champs of all time.  Only the 72 phins, 84 niners, and 85 bears could boast better/as good seasons. 

 

If Cam wins a ring today and mvp, you could make a case that he had the best season a qb has ever had in the league. 

 

TD, Tillman, Allen are all guys worthy of getting a ring. 

 

Big Cat finally gets his ring after the dream is fulfilled 20+ years ago. 

 

There is a lot on the line today.

I had confidence when we were 2-14 that we would get back on track.  I think DG and staff has build a team for success.  This team has a chance to be a dynasty.  Truly believe this.

I'll be pretty upset if we lose but still happy with the teams progress this season and optimistic it will continue going forward.

Win or lose this team has been a joy to watch this year. I have always believed they can win any game but now I know they can.
