Miami gameplanned to stop the run. They usually had 8 in the box in most running situations. They were effective stopping the run but that opened them up to the passing game.

Besides its not like the Panthers flashed a great run defense vs the Eagles.

Who are you? Falcons fan I guess, and yes you guys will probably win but crazier things have happened. And we don't have a shakey front 7, our is arguably much better than the Falcons front 7 (Peppers is an everydown DE, not some gimick). It will be a close game and your 250 lb running back had a tough time finding holes against the Dolphins and you guys were up the whole game.

Sure things have changed from 2008 to 2009 (like you lost your best run stuffing DT and the Dolphins signed Jason Taylor), but Miami's defense isn't a slouch.

I predict that Jake will not play an average game. He will either play out of his mind, leading the Panthers to a comfortable victory...or he'll fall back into his current funk, thus losing his starting job for a while.

Crowd noise will effect an already mentally shook Carolina Panthers team causing multiple penalties resulting in drives being stalled. Look for Micheal Turner and the O-line to get on track with the run blocking this week and control the line of scrimmage. Turner probably wins MVP of the game with 90+ yards and 2 TD's

Not making a prediction. It tends to jinx the whole game. If I say something about a game and mean it, the exact opposite will happen. Now this doesn't work if I purposefully say something to get a positive effect.

However, I will say what I hope to see.

Jake gets less than 2 INTs. Steve makes two amazing jump-catches (That's why Jake looks so damn good sometimes), DWill runs that poo for 130+ yards.

I'm pulling for the Panthers to win, but I am also prepared for a disappointing loss if that ends up being the case. Who knows. Stats don't mean poo. The only stat that matters is the "W" and the "L". We'll just have to wait until Sunday at 1:00 P.M. ET to find out what happens, as the game will probably be nothing like anyone is saying on either team.

the panthers can win any game they play. any team can beat any other team any weak. we almost saw the bills beat the pats (and they would have if mckelvin hadn't screwed up). why shouldn't we believe/hope that this is the week that things get turned around? otherwise, where's the fun in being a fan of a team?

Don't have a clue as to the score or stats. No one on here does. But I do think that jake redeems himself and the Panthers win. The defense will make a big play at the end to seal the victory while Jake gets uncorked in the second half.
