When people make predictions does anyone ever predict the Panthers will actually lose? I doesn't seem that way which makes these less of predictions and more like prayers. I think Jake does play better but it won't be enough.
it's called keeping hope alive. have you lost it?

the panthers can win any game they play. any team can beat any other team any weak. we almost saw the bills beat the pats (and they would have if mckelvin hadn't screwed up). why shouldn't we believe/hope that this is the week that things get turned around? otherwise, where's the fun in being a fan of a team?

Based on the Panther performance last week, the Panther have a difficult road ahead on Sunday.

I think that Matt Ryan corrects those overthrows and beat the secondary of the Panthers. The Eagles were able to run the ball pretty well in the 2nd half.

Oh, I misunderstood the question. I thought this thread was what we THINK will happen not what we HOPE will happen, my bad. I hope the Panthers win and Jake doesn't throw a INT and Williams gets over 120 yards rushing. I hope the defense clamps down on the run and holds the Falcons under 100 yards rushing. I hope the secondary doesn't allow any big plays and the defensive line gets pressure on Ryan. I also hope the offensive line can protect Jake on third and long. Is that better?

All kidding aside I DO believe the Panthers can win I just think its going to take a very good game by them to do so. Based on what I saw in the preseason and the first game from both teams I think the Falcons have a slightly better chance to win. If the Panthers play great then they will win, but I predict they will have a solid game and improve but fall short. This team is good but I don't think they'll get it done Sunday...not to say they can't.

Dude dont let that man fool you into thinking yall are going to win. Your strength which was supposed to be your defense struggled, despite the Delhomme turnovers, especially against the run. The running lanes opened up pretty wide for Westbrook in the 2nd half, and imagine what a 250 lbs running back can do to a shaky front 7.

Who are you? Falcons fan I guess, and yes you guys will probably win but crazier things have happened. And we don't have a shakey front 7, our is arguably much better than the Falcons front 7 (Peppers is an everydown DE, not some gimick). It will be a close game and your 250 lb running back had a tough time finding holes against the Dolphins and you guys were up the whole game.

the starting Dline has been shaky ever since Kemotu(sp) got hurt, and throughout the preseason didnt look good either. Maybe it has to do with Ron Meeks and his defense. He has never had stong run defense since he became a defensive coordinator, the highest ranking his defensives have ever gotten is 15th and the worst was 32nd, but the average is 23rd. The Dolphins are a very good run team, it is just the fact that they struggle in the secondary. Maybe the FO made another bad decision bringing in Meeks as the DC.
