The Falcons run and stop the run. We pass when we have to but when you stop Williams Jake has to pass.

Yeah, because Turner ran SO WELL against the vaunted Dolphins D. And there is only one person on this planet who can stop DWill and JStew, and he's the guy who calls our offensive plays

falcon run game isn't going to be as productive as it was last year.

they are going to be passing the ball a whole lot more and are playing much better run Ds than last year.

this week the ones who are going to hurt the panther defense are gonzo and norwood.

jake: 20-25-200-2-0 (no sacks or fumbles)

smith: 5-100-1

williams: 20-100-1

stewart: 12-85-1

If this happens, I will be equally shocked and ecstatic. I hope you are right. (especially with Delhomme). If we do run that well I think we will win the game no matter what Jake does. Atl stopped a pretty good run team last week.

When people make predictions does anyone ever predict the Panthers will actually lose? I doesn't seem that way which makes these less of predictions and more like prayers. I think Jake does play better but it won't be enough.

Jake 14-24 179 1 TD 1 INT

Williams 23 carries for 98 yards 1 TD

Smith 5 cathes for 84 yards 1 TD

Defense keeps it close but Ryan is able to put it away near the end.

Falcons 24 Panthers 20

So. You dudes do realize that Jake Delhomme is still our starting QB?

I predict that Jake decides to sit this one out, flies to Louisiana. Favre hears this, retires from the Vikings, joins the Panthers at the airport, leads us to glory.

If that doesn't happen, we'll get killed.

Under Fox we're 5-2 on our first away game. Plus we have a good habit of bouncing back from bad games. I don't think it's all prayer. It'll be a good game, but I think we can win without a doubt.
