What did jj watt say?

I'm gonna assume he wants to join the panthers for vet min.  :)

Don't remember his exact words, but he defended Cam and his celebrations, said that the game is about having fun and that is what Cam has..... if Cam gets a TD he "deserves" to celebrate,  if he (JJ) gets a sack he celebrates too (and acknowledged that his "dab" he few weeks ago sukked in a funny way).  He was really positive and one of the most relaxed and genuine individuals I have seen interviewed over the last few days

Yes, I agree with that too.....  Can't get anything done!  I NEED the offseason to allow me to get back into a good rhythm with my job, and more time with friends....

Honestly Im about where Cam is with the media coverage. It's overwhelming. There is so much content and very little of it has substance. Some of these stories should have been told months ago. It feels a little awkward hearing these analysts gush about the Panthers after they called them the worst undefeated team in the league for the first 10 weeks. Then told us the Cardinals were better.

Also they don't want to put us in with the 85 bears and even the 2007 Patriots. W don't have "names". We do have names, they just didn't learn them over our past three playoff runs.

I am ready for the game personally.

The 2 week hype machine is wearing my out.  Questions about what kind of car would you be and the critiques of shoes, hats, pants, toothpaste (made that last one up) is so overkill for me.

I want the game, 27 hrs and counting

This has been a tremendous gift to us all and an unexpected season

i still remember how gut wrenching Super Bowl 38 was...as if it was yesterday and thought we would be back

12 years later we are.

I don't care who wants  to  'win one for Peyton'. I don't care who does or does not like Cam or who thinks the Panthers are too cocky...and yes I know the Bowlan family has issues with Alzheimer's

i am sick and tired of hearing about, Mr PED, Von Miller

I don't want to wait 12 more years.  I want a Super Bowl win for Jerry Richardson...for the coach no one wanted to hire...for the QB that everyone said would never make it.  For an o line  with two throwaways.  For Thomas Davis.  For two assistant coaches who had been fired. For WRs no one else wanted.   For PSL holders who paid money to see the myriad of journeyman QBS and who attended week after week, dreadful seasons.

i care that the Panthers win and win they will. 31 to 17 and I will be the first one on this board to say I was wrong about Ron Rivera when it happens and I'll take that crow with a little mayo please.

    • Yeah and he succeeded at an even higher level in LA with an even better surrounding cast. Goff is a guy that isn't really able to dramatically elevate players around him but he can make a good situation even better. He is capable of that. Some QB's aren't. I am not sure Dak is able to do that and he is in a similar "class" as Goff, IMO.
    • i think i could handle that for a year. beyond that....i don't know.  back where we lived, when we had a few inches of snow, it might have been a couple feet because we weren't getting out and doing anything. i remember times where power would go out for days on end. we had propane and electric heat, depending on the floor. basement (had a couple bedrooms and a living room and kitchen down there) and main floor had gas logs. main floor gas logs was enough to take care of the upstairs, so we could stay warm and cook on the grill when we needed. we had a well so that was always an issue when the power went out. had to make sure tubs were filled with water for the toilets and we had gallons of water for drinking and cooking available. always had to make sure we were ready. that wasn't always the case. we had a couple moments where we were going through propane quickly and because we were dealing with the worst propane company in the world (amerigas) they wouldn't get out to put gas in our 900 gallon tank. made for some nerve racking moments.  i know y'all were probably a lot more able to handle that kind of thing, but after the little bit (comparatively) that we got here i just have no desire to get trapped again. maybe for a day or two a year get snowed in and i'm good.
    • I think he is just drawing a DC to them line and that's about as far as his thought process went. It makes almost no sense outside of that. Also, it doesn't make sense for Pittsburgh or Seattle at this juncture either.  I think our "veteran" pool is basically gonna be the Dalton/Flacco tier or the "pick your poison" options of young busts(Jones/Z. Wilson) or wild, TO prone gunslingers(Darnold/Winston/etc). We have the option to pursue I genuinely believe(depending on the way the rest of this season goes), we either draft a QB in the top 10 or resign Dalton. Outlier third option on taking one of the wild gunslingers that Dave feels like he can work with.
