Sorry to OP for derailing aswell....

TD is a BEAST!!!!

I can't believe y'all!  Sheesh! =P

TD is a representation of the WILL of this team...how can our guys not be inspired by a man who is literally playing with a broken arm?  Who needs a disrespect card?  We have the Bionic Man card!  (now someone can make a CCG comment!)

Oh I love it. Enough so that I've gotten a router table, vinyl plotter, and 3D printer for my home.

Nice, have you looked into the all in one CNC machines? I've thinking about a shipmaster patriot. Of course I would change the name of it to a Panther. ;-)

What is the name of the programming language? I am literally clueless.

The actual name of the language that controls the machines is G-code. Programming the actual machines is usually done in C or Python (I think, that's a bit above my pay grade :P)

Software wise, I use AutoCAD and Blender to create the files/models and then use EnRoute and Skeinforge to convert the files to g-code so the machines can run them. Blender and Skeinforge are freebies, AutoCAD and EnRoute I swiped from work. LibreCAD would be an alternative to Auto, and FlatCAM is an alternative to EnRoute.

Gotcha. Thanks.

Awesome. If you don't mind saying what kind of printers do you have? I'm thinking of getting one for home here but working on getting an all in one CNC first. And by working on a metal printer do you mean using one or making one?

All of my printers are home made. Using some freeware software I got from a forum. I've been waiting on project tango so long I bought a 3 D scanner for my iPad. I'm building a metal one just been hitting snags.

I actually couldnt find one but they were something like this.

I was looking more for the machine itself.

All you people with your fancy degrees. I just fell ass backward into CNC programming :P

Those people are the reason I went out on my own. The kind of people that make you say you're so smart you're dumb. Although having the degree helps a little.

I had an ink jet printer, but I switched it out for a laser one. The pictures are much prettier. And I didn't need no fancy pants degree to use it.

As for Mr. Davis. I see a career game from him. Especially if they try to target him. He gon be one fired up mofo.
