What position did you play?

Didn't start but was first off the bench at every position in our 3-4 scheme except CB and NT. My favorite spot on defense was/is SS, as it's great to get a second to diagnose in space and get a head of steam before anyone gets on you.

On offense, I was a possession receiver/TE. Caught a few balls and a TD, but we had 3 other really tall receivers that saw most of the action.

I only got to play in Middle School. I played Center. I played in the 7th Grade, the  Practice week before then first  game in the 8th Grade, a Helmet went into my knee. I needed 2 screws in my Femur Condyle, and a Lateral Release on my Knee Cap. I didn't play sports after that. I did however.. tryout for Baseball... didn't work. I was in JROTC in HS, So I guess that is a Sport Like thing...........Little Did I know that 6 years later that trying to get into the Military with screws in your knee.... is Very Very Vey Hard.

I played Tight End and occasionally Defensive End.  I only played JV ball in High School.  In 11th grade I decided I liked watching way more than playing it.  We were a running team and TE was used exclusively as a blocker.  That bored me.

Fullback... Best special teamer ever.  Was averaging about 7 yards per carry.  Didn't get to carry much :)

SG...  Bench player averaged like 5 fouls and 3 points per game.

3rd base, shortstop, outfield.  Mad baseball skillz...Think I was at .303/11hr my senior year.  Didn't like playing though.  Only liked playing basketball which was my worst sport.  Kick my self in the ass about this often.

Senior in HS, I played both WR and CB. Even played some KR/PR.

Was pretty decent at both positions. I could fly. Biggest thing for me was I didn't like getting hit.  Lol, I'll admit it. Now, I'd go through the middle, but I was basically Roddy White. You hit me good once going through the middle, and I'll admit I was hesitant the rest of the game. Man, I was tall and skinny. I could talk some trash too. Lol, some of the hits I received were my fault, because I could talk some cash money sht. Coach never had a problem with my talking; as long as I backed it up he said or didn't get disrespectful.

I have a couple of great memories in high school. Go routes were my thing. I felt I could always beat my man. I've caught a few game winning TD's, and caught some key passes on winning drives. On the defensive side, I had 3 picks my entire HS career. 2 sophomore year and 1 senior.

Also played Baseball and Basketball. RF in baseball and PG in basketball. Baseball was my sport. That was going to be my meal ticket, but I screwed around and got in some trouble. I was a knucklehead and hot head growing up. It ended up costing me when it came to baseball

I played guard for Havelock.  Same school that produced super bowl winning tackle Guy Whimper, ECU standout MLB Chris Moore, SC WR Pharoh Cooper, and Bucaneer/Cowboy Bruce Carter.

That is quite a lineup.
