Greg Olsen's Brother Playing at Charlotte Next Season

I'm a Charlotte Alum, so I thought this is really cool. Greg's brother Kevin signed with Charlotte to play QB next season. He was one of two 4-Star recruits for the 49ers in this class, the fist 4-Stars they have ever signed. A good example of how, having a Pro team team in the city can help College athletics.

Seems like he's here so big brother can keep an eye on him.  He's been a knucklehead in the past.  He was suspended at Miami and dismissed from Towson already.  Hopefully he can keep it together.  He was supposed to be pretty talented.

Yea if we had a competent QB last year, it could of been a 5-6 win season first year in FBS.

 

I believe their parents also live in Charlotte now which should help. Great to see another instance where the 49ers are tied back to the Panthers.

My thought exactly. I think Greg can have a positive impact on his life, but I also hope that the brother doesn't end up a distraction... a small chance if at all, but a chance nonetheless.

Yea he will be off the team quickly if he does head down the same path. Coach Lambert doesn't put up with anything crap. Charlotte may never be world beaters but they will definitely run a clean program.

I am a canes fan and gregs brother is a jackass. he has a lot of issues and worse of all was not a very good quarterback.

I know he got in a lot of trouble but your "not a good QB" comment is interesting considering he never saw the field in a game at Miami.
