WHEN Carolina wins on Sunday there will be coverage but not as much because of trades, hires..etc..

I was mostly though referring to the games themselves..will have to wait until preseason..

Really? That was the major storyline last week and it still gets some play this week. Albeit most of it was in reference to Cam being a part of the run game and not Stew, but how the Broncos will stop our running game has been a big breakdown item.

I've experienced the complete opposite.

All, you hear about is the Panther run or option game.

I have avoided most of it. The quality isn't necessarily better compared to the quantity. It's mostly attempts to create drama but there are a few gems.

I'm extremely tired of all the same things being said over and over in different ways by different people...

Now I have dived deep into the internet coverage from the big guys (CBS, NFL, SI, the Huddle!), and I've been listening to the NFL channel on Sirrus (which sucks horribly). From my perspective, the media is probably a 75% Panther win, but those 25% think we are a terrible team (double Olsen, contain Cam, can't run on Denver, blah blah blah).

What most exhausts me:

1. Our offense can't match the Denver D.  Oh the story of how the #1 Denver offense of 2012 got smoked by Seattle's #1 D.  Exhausting!

2. Cam can't throw the ball well.  Pulling the completion percentage out like a butthurt Seattle fan.  Really exhausting!

3. It's Payton's time to close his career.  Legacy this and that, what about the other times Payton has choked like crazy in the playoffs?

4.  Denver is just a better team.  They have the SB experience, they had to win close games this year, etc.  We won some close games too, but that doesn't matter because Denver is just better...

5.  We haven't played anyone.  I mean, everyone we beat was terrible right?  Denver beat New England!  Therefore they are better than us by a mile...

I can't wait for Sunday.  I enjoy all the Panthers coverage, and I appreciate well thought out and researched perspectives about the Panthers.  I also just want to see my team play their style of football.  I want to see how we do against a D designed to stop New England.  I want to see how Luke and Manning try to out call each other.  I want to see our team celebrate and enjoy a Super Bowl win! 

I want to shut the media up.  This is our season!

I can only imagine how much the local news and papers and everything are covering the Panthers has escalated back in the Carolinas. Living in Alabama now, people talk about the Superbowl but it's safe to say down here college football takes precedence over the NFL, hell people have been talking about the national signing day results more than the Superbowl recently, so the only time I hear too much media coverage is when I watch ESPN for extended periods of time during the day.

Yes, I'm ready for the game.  The 13/14 days between the games is making me crazy.

Was thinking about it last night, these players are creatures of habit, same things every day, all day, during the season....then this monstrosity.  It's no wonder some of the guys get in trouble at Super Bowls, that sometimes the teams that should be great out there don't look so good.

Me tired of it? Nah.  Heck if I were tired of people talking about the Panthers, I probably wouldn't be on this board right now.

I could easily see the players being tired of it though.

Yes!! Funny because I was about to make a post about exactly this but didn't want the backlash lol. God I love this team but I have to be honest, the media fatigue and overexposure is starting to wear on me
