Not that it matters, but you can check my math bitches.

DeAngelo Williams

Average Per Carry - 5.5

Yards - 1,229

Attemps - 224

Touchdowns - 14

Adrian Peterson

Average Per Carry - 4.9

Yards - 1,581

Attempts - 320

Touchdowns - 9

If you do the math, DWill has 96 less carries and when you multiply strictly his average to 96 extra carries, it adds 528 yards to his stats. Thus giving him 1,757 yards.

Nosuchthing, it isn't anything about something Williams should have done, it is just an interesting stat I figured out, so if you don't like it, kindly gtfo my internets.

here's an interesting stat that you should have figured out...

this exact same topic comparing peterson and williams (stats included) has been posted and discussed probably half a dozen times in the past few days.

I'm not ready to make that leap yet. D-Will has shot up the ranks this year, no doubt. But I still don't think he's on Peterson's level. Peterson doesn't have a WR that teams have to account for. He sees eight men in the box on every play. Teams that play the Panthers MUST account for Steve Smith. That means D-Will sees less defenders in his face. He's done a great job taking advantage of his situation.
