Why is This Guy still employed

I was listening live when Harrison made those comments. Dan Patrick was speechless for a moment.

Earlier in the interview, Patrick asked him to respond to people saying the Patriots cheated. Harrison said, "You heard the Panthers saying this offseason that we cheated in that Super Bowl. If we cheated, why did Moose catch that 80 yard touchdown pass? I would have switched to cover 2 if I knew that play." (Of course, the Panthers changed the game plan at halftime after realizing the Pats were in their playbook)

Patrick asks, "Did you cheat?"

"No" Harrison responds.

Then Patrick asks, "If you did cheat, would you tell me."

"No, no way I wouldn't tell you."

Yeah, Harrison is a cheating, despicable excuse for a human being.

The thing that CTE Rodney doesn't understand, if every player had that mentality there wouldn't be any stars in the NFL.

KEY TO THE GAME: GO FOR BRADY'S KNEES

KEY TO THE GAME: CHOP BLOCK VON MILLER UNTIL HE CAN'T WALK

KEY TO THE GAME: GIVE PEYTON MANNING A RKO UNTIL HIS HEAD FALLS OFF

Harrison's comments were out of line.  Disgraceful.  Very glad Greg O., Josh and others are speaking out in such a clear, and yet measured way.  Big Props to our guys for handling this well.  Makes we wish just a bit that we were playing New England and could wipe the floor with them.  Next year...

That's my question too. He's an embarrassment to the company that employs him.

NBC Sports is tweeting out Harrison's comments about going for Cam's knees.  It seems they are promoting his comments so clearly they think there's nothing wrong with them.

I've felt for years that NBC was the dregs of network sports. Good to know I was right.

It goes along with what Khalil has said where defensive players try to hurt Cam.

Based on his constant disrespect of the Panthers most of the season (likely due to getting called out for his Patriots cheating against the Panthers in Super Bowl ). He would want nothing more than to see Cam get hurt and the Panthers lose since injuries is likely the only way they lose.

The irony is I could see it backfire on good ol' Rodney. Comments like this brings what players have been trying to do to the forefront. As a result, officials will be on the look out for cheap hits and more likely to throw a flag. Thanks Rodney you piece of trash.

Secondly, I agree he should not be employed. While everyone knows players try to take out other players and win at all costs the NFL does not want things like this said in the media and give them a black eye. I will not watch the halftime show or any show he is on because he is biased and not objective. As a result he brings a fans perspective and not a players perspective. If I want a fans perspective I will listen to talk radio.

From Connor Orr's article

But it's interesting to hear Gettleman talk about how being overlooked informed his experiences. He could have easily fired Rivera and dismissed Newton. Instead, he chose to let them make the same mistakes he learned from over the years.

I love how these guys try to get in their digs against Newton in their own way.

Hilarious. LOL

The Panthers never sure as hell felt that way. And if Gettleman would have got rid of the coach, why get rid of your #1 pick QB (even if you had doubts-let's say in this scenario) without seeing what he could do with the new incoming coach). Such a troll/hack.
