If you want to boo and cheer based on an objective analysis of a player or teams performance you are missing the point of being a fan and I feel sorry for you. If technical skill gives you a hard on, don't pick a team just get the NFL package and watch whoever is doing well each year.

OK, I feel like I've posted this 100 times in here already, and I don't know how else to word it. I'll just paste something I said a couple pages back. Maybe if it's bold you'll read it.

However, I don't make a huge effort to make myself be heard by the players after the play and boo at them BECAUSE I'd rather them maintain composure and continue to try their hardest to keep focused so that they can play to the best of their abilities. Lots of fans together, in a concerted effort, booing them funcks that up for sure.

If Delhomme is going to play, which unfortunately for us he will under Fox, then it's best for him to keep his cool, not panic and stay focused. I wish we had someone in the wings to put in his place right now, but we don't, so why mess with our QB's focus if we want to win the game?

Sounds as if we are on the same page then. It seems to me that the biggest problem the Bobcats have is that they followed the Hornets. Every city has tolerance for an expansion team and are willing to accept losses because they are happy to have a stadium. But in the Bobcats case it is an expansion team after having a playoff team that moved. People are just not willing for them to keep losing. I think hiring Larry Brown was an attempt at all costs to get on a winning track to stop the bleeding. Problem is that Larry has a rep for quickly building a winner but struggles sustaining them.

I wish the Bobcats well but honestly they don't seem to have the wide appeal that the Panthers do. Of course if the Panthers keep losing we may see their fans leave in droves as well. One horrible game and the sky is falling.

Figured if I didn't mention the Panthers tie in, this thread would get moved.
