Spelling is overrated. If Webster's can say "to hell with I before E" when including new words in the english language, then I say spelling be damned when talking football.

yeah i agree, but when spelling/grammar is gratuitously bad, it indicates a general level of ignorance, which does not bode well for the thought process behind the core of said post. i don't think it's a mistake that the people with the worst grammar, spelling, or lack of articulation also generally present the stupidest ideas. :out:

One of the interesting things in written communication is that, psychologically, proper syntax and execution are not necessary. Case in point, I hold a collegiate degree in the English language, yet my spelling is generally terrible. Many tests have proven that the presentation of an idea is nowhere nearly as important as the context of that idea.

So, in short, poor grammer in no way goes hand in hand with a poor thought.
