I was at the game Sunday, and I couldnt boo Jake. As much as I wanted to I didn't because I knew that no matter what, he was our starting QB. I just looked at everyone while they boo-ed him. I almost felt like I wished I didnt come to the game because of it.

How about if the crowd start to boo, then the ones who have sense should start to chant for him or something. I know our next home game is in a while, but as a crowd we realy need to get behind our team and help them i anyway we can.

Some fans seem to think the players owe them something as they pay to see them play. Problem is the players often need the crowd to help them in tough times. These guys are just like everyone else in the world, they need support. It's a team game and the fans and players go hand in hand.

First, who do the players owe?

Who do the players, play for? themselves, OK, let the stadiums be empty, what does it matter.

The players play and the fans pay their salaries to watch them, be it, via PSLs, concessions, etc, ensuring TV rights, buying jerseys.

Everybody in that stadium is and was for that team.

It's a two way street.

The stadium did not start out unsupporting. It was the 3rd turn-over that did it.

It was not, Jake Delhomme, by the way that a lot people were upset with. It was Fox.

How many turn-overs before a change at QB, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10?

If Delhomme on that day gave us the best chance to win by the start of the 3rd quarter then we had no chance. No chance whatsoever.

There have been way way too many times that Fox coached teams, against better competition, looked like crap, unprepared, out-coached and no adjustments.

I keep hearing Fox's record touted.

Tell me, how many of those good years were when they had to play a big boys schedule?

He has a big boy's schedule this year and it will be interesting to see his results.

I don't care if they win or lose, as long as they look like they know what they are doing, giving max effort and don't look like stumbling, bumbling pro team that a disciplined college team could beat.

fuging Kyle Orton was nothing but booed by Denver fans through training camp and preseason, if only because he was traded there for All-Pro Jay Cutler (who certainly didn't look All-Pro against Green Bay, but I think he will turn it around and play much better). Come gameday against Cincy is his confidence shattered? No, he protects the ball, throws a late touchdown pass, which was a freak play but a miracle win nonetheless, and the crowd is a little less critical of him. ...And to top it off, he doesn't even get paid much to do it.

you think that record breaking crowd of 13000 that went to see the Broncos practice back in training camp were chock full of bandwagoner fairweather bitches when they booed Orton after he threw a pick?

i don't even know why i still take the huddle seriously.

I agree, instead of yelling "Boo you suck! Go home Delhomme!" we could be a little more nice to him and chant "No More Picks! No More Picks!". Maybe then he can finally feel better about himself not to throw interceptions with twenty million in his back pocket.

Not sure what we would chant if he starts fumbling though. :(

maybe we should go to build a bear workshop and send delhomme one of these

that way when he sits on the sideline and looks at the bear and knows how much we wuv him it will make his arm stronger and his decision making magically better.

As much as I respect Jake and what he has done for this organization the NFL fanbase has always been about 'what have you done for me lately?'

It's all about 'win now dammit!!!! I pay good money to come to these games....blah.. blah...blah.'

Like it or not Jake is our only chance to get a back to back winning season so lets suuport him now please and what better way for him to get back on our fans good side than to kick the Falcons ass on Sunday.....that would be so sweet!!! :biggrin5:

yurrrrp! what is wrong with yall slurpers! football is a business we are the consumers they are the product, bad product consumers get mad, just like in any other business ( restaurants, hotel...), and what does booing do? are you serious? hopefully for a grown man that getting payed millions, booing lights a fire under your butt.

and as far as the mentality of the FO, i dont understand at all... Minnesota has one of the best running game in the league, and what do they do? they get a proven PASSER. Why? because two dimensions are better then one.
