Our Dak Prescott interest is, well, interesting.

I get due diligence and all that but someone is going to have to explain this one to me. We can't actually be thinking of using a mid round pick on a QB, can we? Anderson and Webb are under contract through 2017 and there is no way we carry 4 QBs on the roster even if Webb is considered to be a ST player. It's crazy enough that we have 3 and only really works because Webb does play ST. Surely, we aren't thinking about moving on from DA and I really don't think Dak has the same athletic ability as Webb to play ST.

Wilson wrote a short blurb on Sanchez, here's most of it:

"Sanchez is a two-time All-Big 12 selection. He started 37 games over the past three seasons. Sanchez intercepted 15 passes over the past three seasons with 28 pass breakups. He was a second-team All-American last season with seven interceptions, 45 tackles, 3 1/2 for losses and seven pass breakups."

OP Updated with

LB: Stephen Weatherly, Vanderbilt (Workout, Private) Proj Round: 4th-6th

RB: Tyler Ervin, San Jose State (Private) Proj Round: 3rd-5th

Keep a close eye on San Jose State skill player Tyler Ervin, someone I presently grade as a fourth-rounder. From what I'm being told Ervin could end up in the draft's second day. Teams love the versatility, toughness and play-making skill Ervin brings as a ball carrier, pass catcher and return specialist, all attributes he showcased during Senior Bowl week. Ervin has made visits to see the Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texas, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots.

Meanwhile, scouts feel Weatherly could develop into a legitimate starting three-down linebacker. Thus far, he's worked out for the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals.

Weatherly is in Carolina today for an official "30" visit, and his list of trips has included the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler relays that Auburn T Shon Coleman has met with the Buccaneers, Lions, Vikings, Panthers, Patriots and Titans.

Coleman was unable to participate in Pro Day festivities due to a slight tear in his MCL, but that has not exactly limited interest in the 6-foot-5, 307-pounder. NFL Media's Lance Zierlein has referred to him as a "long, talented run blocker," one who could possibly play either tackle position at the next level. With faith in his medical future, a team could select him in the earlier rounds of the draft later this month.
