I’ve watched all his game, he’s a great college QB idk how he will translate into the nfl, but his internal clock needs to speed up tremendously. He plays way to slow right now, Miami’s pass protection is unrealistic in the nfl -
You can't take the cap because Cleveland keeps it. That's how fully guaranteed contracts work. There's no advantage to either team. Even if it were possible then the team would also have to pay the remaining guaranteed money the second the Panthers cut him. On top of that they would have to clear around 60M in order to sign him. Then turn around and cut him and absorb a 100M cap hit. What on earth says that is worth 2 1sts. It would finish this team off and be the laughing stock of the league for another 30 years. -

Yeah I wouldn't put Bryce as a measuring stick in actuality. That's more of me once again reflecting upon how stupid the trade up was lol. I agree with at the least a camp battle with Dalton if we took Ward, do at least the Brissett/Drake Maye kinda thing, Baker sat for a few games before injury forced him in his first year, that kinda thing makes sense. Making Bryce QB1 and letting him lead protection meetings by week 2 of his first training camp was fuging idiotic, it would be idiotic no matter how talented the rookie is.
