At this point in the Panthers' offseason Luck already took a piss on declaring for the 2011 draft (with some advice from Peyton Manning)  and everybody here was basically talking about drafting Dareus, Fairley or Patrick Peterson. Taking Cam or Gabbert (thank god it wasn't Gabbert) wasn't even an afterthought at this juncture. That is, until you made this OP. I swear Hurney read this thread and it led him on the path to draft Cam Newton.

Reading @Jackofalltrades propping up Sam Bradford as a legitimate QB while dismissing Cam Newton is like watching someone eat their own feces.

I've admitted repeatedly that I was wrong about Cam. I couldn't be happier that I was wrong.

If Sam wasn't so fragile I think he'd be a to 10 QB.
