I agree with your premise. We don't need a whole bunch of FA, but we may have come to be a very good landing spot. IF you can get by Gman that is. I am kinda excited to see how this plays out in the near future. Will Gman up his shopping, or will he stick with the bargain bin?

 

If we continue to draft well. The UDFAs and FAs will have less spots to fill. It is going to get harder and harder to earn a spot on this team. And that my friend makes me giddy all over.

im just pumped that with the "holes" and deficiencies we have on our team, we have the right management, coaches, and players (young nucleus) to have an absolute dominant season. we dont need stacked WRs or DBs..  

 

its pretty amazing to think about.  it wont be hard at all keeping the talent level on offence in place. makes me comfortable giving cam the family farm for him to stay here. ELEVATION.

Oh I agree that we are set up well for the future. We should win a goodly amount of games with this nucleus. The difference between being good, and being great, is coaching and Front Office. And our Coach and GM see things the same way. That portends good things for our future.

 

Gman finds the talent, and Rivera coaches them up. That combo, with Cam and Keek, is going to give us fans plenty of good feels going forward. Add in our core, and people should fear the Big Black Cats.

He did say this back in 2012

"I am Cam's biggest fan," Miller said. "Coming out with him last year and watching him fight all the adversity that he had in college and come into the league and perform at a high level, not just being able to run the ball but throw the ball, overall being the great superstar he is. If I had sons that play quarterback, I would tell them to watch Cam Newton."
