I will.  Reason?  I do not want to entertain or pretend to be interested in what some fair-weather, wagon-loading, "fan" who has no friggin idea of the hard draft research, emotional sacrifice, and professional compromise I have put into that moment--the pinnacle of fandom, an event that rivals only the births of my 2 boys (now that they are Panther fans) and my marriage to my wonderful wife.  Nobody is going to skip into my moment with brand-spanking new Panther gear from Penney's because it is the next social thingy in town and pretend to sit as my equal on a sofa and make ill-timed comments about players whose name and complete professional biography he does not know.   If you are there for the food and the commercials, you are going to my hell and I will gladly send you there if you as much as think about depriving me of one second of this climactic moment by breathing the same air I am breathing--air only intended for those who are true and blue Panther fans and have been since before October----1995.

This is a tough one. When I'm not at the stadium, I secretly despise watching Panthers games with people. I hate it when they start talking like they know anything. And I'm very unpleasant to be around when we lose. We'll see.

I'm really debating this. I've been hosting a party for 16 years but I'm not sure I want to this year. My three sons will be watching with me but no one else I invite is a Panthers fan and I'm not sure I want the distractions this year. Plus, my brother and I have Skyped during every game but two over the last two years, not sure he will want to if I have a house full of people. Dilemma.

Tape it.

You still get the party but you can go back and relive it on your own later.

My two sisters, both from Colorado, are in town with myself to take care of my mom after a surgery. They will be very upset fans.

It will be the first time in many years I am not watching at some sort of big party thing. It will be nice.

I don't mind watching SuperB owls with other people. But this is different. I enjoy watching Panther games by myself. People have a tendency to talk. Talking annoys me. Especially for a Panther SuperB owl.

That said. As some of you know, lately, the wife has taken it upon herself to hone herself into my Panther tradition. She asks questions, and talks. (Especially when she thinks she makes a cute aside. Annoying as hellz.) Two things that truly irk me. The problem is, this year she is taking the day off to watch the game with me. I love her to death, but I am ruing the day she decided to learn about football.

We watched the repeat of the Denver NE game so she could scout the team we are playing. Part of me is happy that after almost 25 years she is finally taken an interest in football. But why now?

I watch every game alone. All my friends here are Chiefs fans. I have those friends that would come over and cheer for the broncos just in spite of me being a fan. If the game is close and a nail biter, I would not want any friendships ending over it.
