Panthers Practice Update - California Knows How To Party

The Carolina Panthers practice today included a few things of note. 

First and foremost, the Panthers stretched and got lose to 2Pac and Dre Dre's "California Love"

 

 

Clearly the guys are looking forward to Santa Clara next week. 

 

Ron Rivera broke down the huddle. This week has seen increased focus by the team and coaching staff. 

 

Thomas Davis participated in a few light drills and was then carted off. It was a good sign to at least see Davis get in a bit of activity, however limited. 

 

Jared Allen saw plenty of action. It does appear he is a go for the Superbowl.

Ricky Proehl has done some great work with our wideouts and the above photos illustrate their progression. 

I remember looking at photos in training camp of Philly and Funchess and neither of them were looking the ball in. The two photos above show great technique and focus and I'm sure that is something Ricky had helped them develop.

Anyone else kind of "sad" Allen is playing after we were so good up front without him vs Arz?

I hope Allen gets to start and run from the tunnel and bask in his first Super Bowl annnnnd then sit for the rest of the game on 2nd down.

I think that Tre, Ealy, and Shaq will all get a lot more snaps than they usually would, but Ron will "start" the vets. The youngsters all definitely showed up big time against the Cardinals.

Seriously think the NFL should allow the full team to dress for the SB including practice squad guys.  It just doesnt seem right to not give a team member a jersey for the game they worked so hard for all year.
