The algorithm looks at people who bought similar products, and at their buying history. Since most of the Seahawks bandwagoners are jumping ship to the Panthers, it is logical that the logarithm would tie the two together. Don't blame E-bay, blame the Seahawks for having fans that are so easily swayed.
