#ThrowbackThursday "The New Logo"

Cool! I can appreciate both old and new, but my preference is the new logo and script. Funny that I wasn't crazy about the new worded logo when it released, but I wouldn't trade it now!

I still like both of the old one's better than the new. The new still doesn't look right to me.

new text is boring as fug.  The old font has a lot of energy.  The new one is just a boring ass MS italic font with funked up serifs. *yawn*

When it came out I wasn't thrilled with it. But looking back now the new logo is a million times better.

Only thing that bothered me, at the time, about the new logo was that they announced it less than 3 weeks after I tattooed the old logo on my leg. Thing hadn't even healed, and it was past tense.... Although now, when fandom/bandwagon question comes up, it is real easy to answer.....

i love the old font, but if the logo got changed then the font changing too is par for course.... Regardless, old or new, logo or font, never been prouder to rock my Panthers gear....

fug the modernists.. the old font was the poo. plain and simple. they could have made it look modernized without completly throwing the old font to the garbage can

I'm pretty indifferent about the logo change. Ultimately though, I do think I prefer the new one. Just looks more modern.

The typeface though, is a much different story. The old one is fuging horrendous and shouldn't have left the 90s. The new font, while it could have been a bit more interesting, was a big upgrade imo.

I remember the day the new logo came out, The Onion introduced it as:

"Nation Horrified By Carolina Panthers' Disturbingly Graphic Logo Redesign"
