How surreal does this have to be for.....

McClain, Tillman, Finnegan, Allen, etc....

I know it's a crazy situation for everyone involved with the Panthers, but the guys who just got here, and now have a shot at a ring, that just has to feel amazing to them.

As for Olsen, Kalil, CJ, TD, etc....I'm just glad that they get a shot before having to hang them up.

After the great departure of March 2014, of those, only LaFell has made it to the Superbowl didnt he?

Tyler Gaffney though technically he was an July or August something departure...

Greg is 30 he could play for a good number more years if he stays healthy

Tony Gonzalez played until 37 . Antonio Gates is 35 , Jason Witten 33 both still playing at a high level.

Greg has been getting more receiving yards every season he's been here so I don't see him "hanging them up" any time soon.

lol I didn't even think about that. That dude could've come home, re-earned everyones respect and be welcomed with open arms, get his old number, possibly get it retired, play his old position and get plenty of snaps, bond with teammates on the road to a super bowl ring. Instead, he's looked at as the dbag that tried to take Cam's TD ball when they were getting blown out, and now he's watching us from his couch in below zero tempatures probably pondering retirement with a team that will never mean anything to him.

It's crazy how he almost came back and then went to GB. It sucks because he was a huge reason I became a fan :(

I could see JP coming back and finishing here.  MIght have 1 or 2 more seasons left in him.  Not like he needs the money or anything and would demand a huge paycheck.  Look at Jared Allen

Jared Allen knew his days where numbered in Chicago and a chance to play with CarolIna's D was his ticket out.

I thought Peppers got a ring with the Bears or Greenbay.

Peppers will not come back and will not retire as a Panther.

Nope.  Packers haven't won since the 2010 season SB, well before Pep got there.  The Bears haven't won since 1985, when you know who was playing LB for them.
