It wasn't the offensive line!!!

Yes the O-line played bad. NO it's not the o-lines fault for Jake's turnovers. Those were on him. Except the first INT that was tipped.

Or the 3rd where the entire Eagles defensive line was in the backfield.

So that leaves us with 2.

Not to mention, in addition to all the sacks, hurries that almost equal the total number of passing plays.

No, jake could've taken the sack. Therefore, thats on him.

Exactly right. And/or he could have just thrown the ball away. Jake rarely, if ever, throws the ball away.

Also, most QB's receive pressure but the good ones know how to get out of the pocket and make something happen. You don't have to be a scrambling QB to do this either. Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Tom Brady, Ben R. and even Peyton Manning are about as slow as the come, but they had/have good pocket presense and help their O-Line out when they miss an assignment by moving around to avoid the pressure.

The OLine was a huge problem on Sunday. They played extremely poor football.

Gross and Kalil have both come out shouldering some of the blame for the problems. That is not a group making excuses for the poor play of the QB. That is a group of MEN that will man up when they know that they screwed the pooch.

All of the Jake Haters refuse to admit that the debacle was not 100% Jake's fault.

What about the other poor decisions by the other 2 Qbs?

It's hard for a QB to make good decisions with constant defenders in his face.

Oh, wait, this is a Jake hate thread, isn't it?

Screw the facts, blame Jake!

One of those kinds of deals, right?

Oh, well, I'm sorry for ruining your fun, yall just get back to what you were doing.

I'll just be on my way.

Are you serious? If you can get passed your ridiculous ego for a second you will realize that all I said was that the oline was not responcible for any of the INT's that Jake threw. Those were all Jake. If you think otherwise you know absolutely nothing about football or you just like talking trash on here. The sacks were bad oline play and I didn't deny that. But the sacks aren't what lost us the game. I'm not bashing Jake I'm simply responding to all the people who keep blaming the offensive line for Jakes bad throws and poor decisions.

The OL did contribute to those bad throws. The sacks given up and the pounding #17 took lead up to and indirectly caused them.

It is you that knows nothing about football.

If you do not think that the OLines inability to effectively block and keep pressure off your QB does not DIRECTLY contribute to a QB's ability to play well adn not throw INT's, then you need to go back and take Football 101.

Where can I take that class?

Do you teach it?

Again, showing either you inability to read or that fact that you enjoy expressing an uneducated opinion about stuff you have no clue what you are talking about. The 3rd INT was a screen pass and I'll dumb it down for you, for a screen pass to work the Oline blocks for a second maybe less and gets out into the flat (thats the area at the line of scrimmage around the numbers) and block for the running back who will get the ball. Fox already mentioned that he should of called another play on 3rd and 18 but again, ITS NOT THE OFFENSIVE LINE'S FAULT! Thats the title of the thread, not JAKE SUCKS, TRADE JAKE, THE SEASON'S OVER or anything else you can think of. I truly think Jake can rebound this week and maybe he won't be outstanding but I think he will make better decisions as a whole.

Yes the offensive line played bad, yes John Fox got out coached, but the line blocked well on all of those passes and that can't be an excuse. Hell, while you're at it blame Smith for tipping that pass or running a poor route or not fighting for the ball on that long bomb. Get over yourself and realize that no one is bashing Jake I'm simply saying those INT's were HIS fault and no one elses.
