We are clearly the better team, but I can't shake the feeling of Peyton getting his fairy tale ending, it just all seems so perfect. Everyone writing him off, saying he had no chance vs NE, now no chance vs the panthers. Next thing you know Peyton saves his best game of the season for last.

No, these NFL conspiracy theories are so dumb. Way, way too many people would have to be involved in order to fix something like this and the fallout if it was ever discovered would ruin the NFL. It would in no way ever be worth the risk. Also, the NFL is way better off having Cam win and be a superstar for years to come than for Manning to win another one and retire. The NFL will keep making money off of Cam. They won't keep making money off of Manning once he's done.

It's possible, but there's just as much to gain if the Panthers were to win. This is the biggest win/win for the NFL, either give the trophy to a legend on his way out, or usher in the new age by handing it to Cam. 

Also, if you don't think it's possible, you're lying to yourself. The NFL is in the business of storylines.

They aren't gonna make it look obvious on a huge stage like the Super Bowl. We were more likely to be screwed over in the divisional round or on Sunday. Not that any of that will matter as long as we play like we did last Sunday.

I actually don't think that Forehead will finish the game.....injury and/or too many turnovers will see Brock take over and they will continue to stink up the joint.

Really wanted to kick NE's ass..........but we do get to wreck the sunset for Forehead.

There are way way more unhappy endings in the NFL than happy ones.

Look at how superstars like Emmitt Smith, Joe Montana, Dan Marino and others ended their careers.

If the NFL is scripting anything, they're doing a lousy job of it.

In this fictional scenario, any motivation the NFL would have to fix the game in Manning's favor for his swansong would be balanced out by them risking him winning the Super Bowl only for this HGH story to gain legs and to be proven right. Imagine their 40 year old star quarterback fresh off of his final game in the Super Bowl busted for using HGH all this time. They would have a poo storm.
