This is just one of many instances this week of Gross, Kalil, etc stepping up and going out of their way to defend jake's play as their fault. Has the Panthers organization completely duped these five guys? How is it that a couple dozen Carolina Huddle posters can see the obvious truth, but these guys who are down on the field with jake every single play don't have a clue what's going on?

Out of those three groups, I'd say the OLine was least to blame simply cause they were set up to fail. Jake made stupid decisions, that as a veteran of so many years actual playing time, he should never have even considered making. I don't care how little time you have, throwing picks instead of throwing it away is dumb. The fumble, where he had time to curl and protect the ball, instead of trying to make a pass when he had no chance,... was dumb.

The coaches not allowing the OLine to succeed by giving them a little fuging help was again, dumb. It's elementary mathmatics here, 9 >>>> 5. With the FB and RB blocking, that's still 2 blitzers that you have to account for. How did they adjust? By doing the same thing all flipping game. Yeah... I blame a lot of it on the coaches.

"Comprised" is not interchangable with "composed." A line can't be "comprised of" idiots. Whether or not the o-line "comprises idiots," or "idiots comprise the o-line" is dabatable.

Again, I'm sorry, and I hate myself for making this post, but it's a cruel byproduct of my profession. Look at it this way, you learned something today, and I always like to go to sleep smarter than I was in the morning.
