You do realize that calling yourself "tarheels" doesn't hide the fact that you aren't a Panther fan.  It's pretty obvious you are trolling and making yourself look ignorant in the process.  Cam is the QB of the highest scoring offense in the league, he was named all pro, been voted to 3 probowls in 5 seasons, and the consensus MVP this year but you're right, he sucks.  Nice try Nancy but feel free to keep trying.  LOL.

you are presenting a subjective article to make people believe he's great.

they show stats but they dont break them down into comparisons with other QBs and situations.

you arent telling me anything I dont already know in general. He's a good QB,i'm not saying he sucks.

He simply isnt a proficient passer with 50 more incompletions than a 22nd ranked QB.

that stat will matter in the biggest game he has ever been in against a team well versed in this situation.

And yet, Cam had 600 more passing yards than checkdown Teddy. Passing stats can say anything you want them to say.

the yards are indicators of after the catch,not the ability to complete the pass

dude are you really comparing Cam to teddy? Cam has almost as many rushing touchdowns as teddy does passing. Teddy does short yardage passes and dump offs where Cam throws it down the field. You also didn't mention how many passes have been flat out dropped when they were easily catchable. (Indianapolis, New Orleans are perfect examples of touchdown passes being dropped. Devin couldn't catch balls and got his first touchdown at GB). Cam's second half of the year stats are also far better then the first half of the year. The last 8 games he has 67% accuracy for 1800 yards 28 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Teddy Bridgewater Hell if it wasn't for the Bears game were he got 1/4th of his touchdowns he would barely have double digits in touchdown passes! (he had 4 touchdown passes against the bears. He has 14 touchdowns total). Cam has 10 rushing touchdowns alone.

 

Cam Newton is further ahead in his rookie year then Teddy Bridgewater is NOW.

Neither is the stat that 50 incompletions shows anything. Devin Funchess literally makes you hold your breath that he can catch until Green Bay, Ted Ginn Jr dropped automatic touchdowns that hit him square in the hands. Cam Newton has as many rushing touchdowns in his rookie year then Teddy bridgewater passing. Cam is playing elite football (proof is we are the #1 scoring offense) Bridgewater is riding a great running back and a great defense.

Denver does not match well against our running offense and their offense doesn't match well against anyone. Expect Luke Kuechly to have his 3rd pick six this postseason.

But than again, you were harping on those 50 less completions. We don't care where the yards and points come from. We are 17-1, lead the league in points, and headed to the SuperB owl. Despite having Cam and his paltry 60% completion rating.

What your posts tell me is that you don't really watch the Panthers, or if you do, that you are blind. Cam has made a LIVING winning from the pocket this year. Our wins against Seattle, New Orleans, and New York are all great examples of game-winning drives relying almost exclusively on Cam's arm, not his legs.

i didnt do that in any way. I just wrote both stats in and of themselves.

I didnt say his running had anything to do with his passing. You somehow created that in your thoughts.

 I said he's a running QB and not a proficient passer. Thats two separate things.

he will be this years early version of Elway or Marino. A great player the team relies too much on that doesnt help in the big game
