JR taking the entire organization to the SB

Danny Morrison was on Late Hits on Sirius and mentioned the generosity of Jerry Richardson. He quoted Mr Richardson as saying everyone in the organization had contributed to this year's success.. Danny said everyone is going.

How many owners do you think do this?

It would be cool to include Marty Hurney in on this fun. Aside from the bad contracts a lot of this roster's core makeup is his to claim...

 

...not sure even Gettles would have drafted Newton at No.1 if he was the GM.  Hurney did that.

The way Gettleman talks about Newton leaves me with no doubt.

Talks about Newton today...or when he first came aboard? Those are two different Gettleman breakdowns.

The latter would be closer to a possible evaluation to Draft time where he hesitated to call Cam a franchise QB.

I am by no means hating on Gettleman but I think that draft would give have netted us an DT.

The 'hesitation' story was pretty much manufactured by Person.

Among Gettleman's first comments when he got here was to mention that the team had the most important piece in place, the quarterback.

I'm dead certain the pick wouldn't have changed. We'll disagree on this.
