So, a couple friends of mine, who own 4 PSLs were not selected. They are purchasing a "package," which includes airfare, hotel, a couple parties and game tix. They are budgeting $6-8k per person to go to SF for 2 days as part of this package.

Can I just say, having attended 3 Super Bowls, there is no fugging way I'd spend that kind of cash for a football game. Considering everything I could do with $12-16k of disposable cash.... a football game would not be in my top 10. 

Now, for those of you who were selected and are going with a face value ticket in hand- enjoy and have a great time! Please give yourself the additional time to experience the Bay area- one of my favorite places in the entire country. Great restaurants, good people.. 

Own two PSL's since 2002 and did not get selected.   I hear you regarding not spending the kind of money, but I guess for some its relative cause they have the kind of income and money that $6-8k per person is not a big deal... for others that don't and spend it... to each is own :-)     I couldn't do it either, not that kind of $$'s.  That is almost one years tuition for my kid's college next year.

Did you get a letter stating you did not win?

I've had 2 in 526 since the start, & added a 3rd in 2000. No winner either in '03 or this year. Like others posted I NEVER got a letter either way telling me I won or lost.

Would any of the lucky winners out there mind posting a photo of what the letter looks like? Would love to live vicariously though you.
