For any lottery winners that can't make the trek for any reason, will you be selling? Very interested if anyone is interested in flipping them. Tix for nosebleeds are currently $3800+ including a 3 hour pre-party. A little too steep for my blood. I've got everything lined up for the trip (including a buddy who offered up his place 10 mins from the stadium) except game tix. I'd be making the drive up from Anaheim. No - not selling.  But I would have happily paid more than what you're seeing for tickets.  No way you'll be able to find someone to make you a "deal" on Superbowl tickets IMO.  That's just the way it is.  I think we're going to find a lot more panthers fans willing to pay the prices for this Superbowl than the one in Houston.  People didn't really get how special that one was and Patriots fans had us grossly outnumbered.  Now they get it.  So many people since then said if we ever go again, they'll go.

Sorry that this thread may seem to be bragging, but I am so excited and the people on this board get it.  And, I know so many of you from so many years ago.  Things are falling into place like it was meant to be.  I just booked my flight - using frequent flyer miles.  Yes - frequent flyer miles.  We don't fly - we earned them through rewards other ways.  Anyway - I did have to pay taxes and fee (for booking less then 2 weeks out), but $172 for 2 round trip tickets to SF.  Holy cow.  I feel blessed.

What gets me is they're trying to justify charging you extra for the 3 hour "pre-party" instead of just $2-3k for just a game ticket. With that extra $1-1200 extra per ticket I could have one hell of a preparty on our own and that's with quality craft beer from one of the many great bay area breweries. 

I'm not sure what ticket or package you're getting with the lottery. I guess it's just me trying to take a shot in the dark to get entrance to the dance without the extra over priced fluff if you get what I'm saying
