5.5 Favorite over Denver.. Thoughts?

This game could get very ugly very fast for Denver.. Denver is banged up and if we can hold Watt in check we can handle Von Miller.

Consider this, Broncos got blown out by the Seahawks two seasons ago in the SB when Manning was playing on GOAT level status, he is probably half that now and we are a better team than Seattle..

I love Manning but he will struggle mightily and I do mean MIGHTILY against our D. I'm not one to ever predict blowouts but this game could well be over by midway through the 2nd qtr

I don't now. The Broncos are the best defense we will face all year. Their offense is hot garbage but they'll be motivated for Peyton and to avenge their 2013 L. Should be a good game

I disagree, I think the Hawks are a better defense and honestly a better team. Denver really played no one besides NE and Pitt the whole year. Its just been one of those years where there were not very many great teams and very few good ones.

Never count out Manning, just like Brady.  And after this year, I don't pay much attention to these numbers honestly.  Denver's defense is a beast, but we just shredded Seattle and Arizona who both have top 3/4 defenses.

The difference is that Manning chokes and Brady wins. You give me a choice on who I want to face, A Manning led team with a good defense or a Brady led team with a good defense, it will be Manning every time. No disrespect to Manning I love the guy but he crumbles in the stage lights.

Only way Denver even puts up more than 10-13 points is if we turn the ball over on our side of the field.  Seriously, Peyton is probably the worst or second worst QB we'll have faced all year.

The media is hyping up this Denver D as the 1985 Bears or something.  Um, no.  Several teams put up 23+ points, Steelers dropped 34 on them, even Alex Smith's chiefs dropped damn near 30.  Patriots were playing in mile high, with a terrible O-line and no running backs, and still were probably an XP away from winning.

This is OVER once we get up 7-10 points.  This Broncos team with Peyton cannot come back from even small deficits.  It will be INT city once we get up a score.

I do think denver was our best matchup.  New england, pittsburgh, or even kc or cin would have seemed to be a worse matchup.  I dont think denver can take advantage of our secondary (which appeared to be our biggest weakness before they played awesome against the mighty arizona offense).

I honestly love our chances as long as we dont have a bad turnover game like you said.
