Hahaha I love people piling on after a bad game, so predictable -
We do not have the right to throw stones at the Falcons. The Panthers are in the same boat. We just burned a boat load of assets and are staring down the same fate. -
I won’t say it destroyed us because we could have taken Stroud and just made better picks like not DJ Johnson and Matt Corral and Mingo and so on as well. It just put us in a position to trade up and make the wrong choice. Young could be OK and we could eventually win but it still set us back a lot because we spent so much and he doesn’t look like a stud. It does suck to look at the picks we gave up and the selections we made and see obvious choices that were thrown out in the draft threads: Young over Stroud Humphrey over TMJ Frazier over Cooks Downs/Dell over Mingo Cross over Iky (for pass blocking prowess) De’Von Achane over DJ Johnson - Actually looking back at the 10 players picked right behind DJ, you will see a bunch of contributing starters. Crazy how bad we are at drafting.
