ESPN is reporting Allen is out for Sunday's game.

"Carolina Panthers defensive end Jared Allen is out for Sunday's NFC Championship Game because of a fractured foot.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Friday that the team hopes Allen will be ready for the Super Bowl if Carolina beats the Arizona Cardinals."

Looks like Ealy gets the start and Delaire will be active.  There's been some debate about Delaire.  I guess we get to see what he's got come Sunday.

I know some people aren't big on Jared, but he's had 10 pressures over the last two games, including 7 against Seattle. I hope he's healthy for the Super Bowl.

And with the WR's we're going against this weekend, pressuring Palmer is a must.  Hopefully Delaire's fresh legs can pick up where Allen left off.

THIS.

He was really good vs Seattle. If it wasn't RW, he'd have at least 2 sacks last game.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
