That has nothing to do with what anything i have said.  I just think you sound dumb criticizing Russell's leadership after he made a valiant effort in bringing his team back in the second half and gave his team a chance to win, even if it was a small chance.  If you want to have a party by picking on Wilson (which is stupid anyways, since winning should be enough of a party), then be better at it, and dont say stuff that makes yourself and other Panther fans sound like ignorant homers.  Do your part and represent your fan base well.

Not exactly sure what you're trying to say (plus you're changing your rationale now)?

I, and other posters didn't feel he was inspiring, and mentioned it. So you could have left it at that.

Remember, you were the one who brought Wilson's bonafides into the mix, making CRA and others respond on Wilson's input and impact on the team.

If you don't agree, then speak to the authenticity of his appeal (which would be your opinion/take), with out bringing up his career, then having to defend it. Some one commented on Michael Bennet's 'faux' appeal as well, but you didn't defend him for some reason...Why not?

I think you're making way more of this than you should already (especially in light of the recent win, and the teams histories).

Let move on and let it go.

Again, with useless hyperbole.  People said the same about Cam at the beginning of the year.  Wilson is part of the reason they won a Super Bowl.  To dismiss him like he just stood on the sidelines is just ludicrous.

The difference between Cam and Wilson is that Cam's never been secondary in his own offense.  Cam has been THE offense since he got here.  Russell didn't become anything but a supporting cast member until halfway through this year, and we see how that turned out.  Sent home by a real QB and his team.  Wilson is a part of the reason they won the Super Bowl just like Dilfer and Brad Johnson were parts of the reason those teams won theirs.  That's not hate.  That's real.  I don't hate Wilson.  I dislike him because he's a twerpy, fake little QB who's been incredibly overrated by the media and the NCSU Wilson slurpers here, but I don't have anything personal against him.  He's a good QB in a great system.  He *might* be a top 10 or 12 QB in the league.  But he has never been a large part of the Seahawks' success.

Nah, not takin it too seriously.  Despite being an NC State grad, I often find Wilson and his antics to be annoying nowadays.  I just tend to agree with EightyNine insofar as that I find it a bit embarassing when fellow Panther fans try to unreasonably discredit good players from other teams.  Because the same thing has been done to us for years.

However, after reading your responses, I don't think you're being unreasonable, so my beef is not with you.  And even if it were, my "beefs" are all pretty minor, as I can't be bothered to try too hard to change other's opinions on an internet forum.  We all should know that's a pretty pointless crusade.

Yeah. I wasn't criticizing Wilson's play Perse.

It was more so his inspiration (or lack of it), which I wasn't going to even mention for the some of the same reasons you did.

So I mentioned it to Jawney Blaze (who did), but didn't expect the reaction I got from some of you. It's all good. LOL

It was just a flippant, passing remark to a recently vanquished, pain in the ass foe (the team, not just him). So I'm sure all Panther fans can understand that (which is why 89 should have understood when he bought up Panther fans) a little heckling. So relax (not necessarily you).

But thanks.

Sorry, but I'm not sure how to be more clear.  I didn't change my rationale, and I dont know what you are referring to when you say that I "brought Wilson's bonafides into the mix."  I agree entirely with Servant of Cthululelei, when he says, "  I find it a bit embarassing when fellow Panther fans try to unreasonably discredit good players from other teams.  Because the same thing has been done to us for years."  That really sums up my entire point.  I didnt mean to make it into more than that.

I don't know why anyone would have issue with Wilson galvanizing his team when down 31 at the half.  Personally I respect his leadership.

Honestly though, this was a pretty weak and poorly produced Sound FX to be a divisional playoff game.  All those mics and great personalities (JNO, Cam, TD, Kalil, Kam Chancellor, Richard Sherman etc.) and we got a pretty vanilla presentation.  At least include Cam's 'can't keep my f'in cool' on there.

I think NFL Turning Points are miles better these days, but appreciate op for posting of course.

well, they have to put out a family friendly segment.

I'm sure NFL Films is sitting on pure gold.  They don't put in the good stuff

I can see that but with Michael Bennett's rambling profanity-laden soliloquy I would have thought they might have included more.  Plus the whole presentation was hawk heavy.  But I agree.
