Update:

Storm will push farther Southeast than expected few hours ago...  This will bring an estimated 4-8 inches of snow and ice to Charlotte area.  Tomorrow high will be only 27* and temperatures on Saturday morning will be below 20*.....

You ought to look into retrofitting a manual pump to your well, or at least rigging a generator hookup to your current pump.

I'm good on my well. The wells I'm referring to are actually part of the water district supply systems. They do have generator backups and such, but they weren't quite prepared for the damage to the electrical infrastructure we experienced.

where are you seeing this information about being colder, all I've seen is temperatures hovering just below freezing all day tomorrow and saturday.

So my flight from Denver back to Charlotte tomorrow has been canceled. Waiting on the airline to call back to attempt a reroute to anywhere in South Carolina.

I'm about to rent a car and drive back.

Yep, likely freezing rain and snow...  It will switch back and forward.  30mph wind gusts will do some serious damage.

Be better to be routed to Atlanta.

I bought a new flight to Atlanta already.

Frontier used to fly to Greensboro don't show it now.  

 

 

Atlanta is safest bet.  Maybe minor delays shouldn't be any cancellations.

Yeah I posted in another thread about it but there wasn't an available transfer within my 300 mile transfer radius until Sunday so I bought a new ticket to Atlanta. My buddy is coming up to nc from Miami and he's going to pick me up in Atlanta tomorrow night and take me to wilmington. Going to change my bags out and drive to Charlotte.
