Seahawks provide intel to Arizona?

I heard it was our equipment manager that tipped off the Cardinals equipment manager.  I don't think the intel came from players or coaches.

Either way this is probably a good thing, the field is already in Arizona's head and they haven't even set foot on it.

This is bothersome to some?

They have all the game footage they will ever need for this Sunday, including this past weekends game. You don't think they already know this? Please.

Forget the cleats, it's not even about that. It's about a team that we just beat, offering their own division rival assistance with game planning. Replace "cleats" with something else, like scouting report or strategic planning. It's just the fact that they would reach out to a foe and lend a hand, regardless of how miniscule it may seem.

I see this no differently than when the Salthawks fan pulled the hotel fire alarm, the other 31 teams are terrified of what the Panthers can become.

So why would a Salthawks equipment manager help out a division rival you ask?

1. Saltiness runs deep in this fanbase and organization, maybe caused by vicinity to ocean.

2. Fear that once the Panthers get going, they can't be stopped.

3.Trying to figure out what the organization will do when people stop buying crisp Wilson jersey's and painting their face like a leprechaun unloaded on them once they've gone back to the Patriots, Broncos or even Cardinal's bandwagon.

I would hope we never give info to a division rival so the 3 points above are viable. Truth is Arians would never admit to "checking in" with the equipment guy because it goes against his image of being a mad scientist that says all the right things to get football karma on his side. That being said, you can't hate the guy. Arians is probably the best offensive mind in football and doesn't come with the scent of douche that Kelly or Sean Payton exude.

I was watching Sports Center tonight and they interviewed a beat reporter with Arizona, at least that's who I think it was. They mentioned that the Seahawks called Arizona to report the size of cleats they had to switch to in order to gain good traction. They even showed each locker in the Cards locker room with the details of which cleats to wear, based on this information. As a result, Arizona is practicing all week with those size cleats.

It's obvious that they will need to make adjustments, but how does a division rival help another? Is this a last stitch effort to "win one over" or perhaps it may provide a validation for a team's dismal season, IF a team from your division wins it all. As if to say, "Well our division is home to the current Super Bowl Champs, so last season makes sense". An excuse if you will.

Or is this fear? Fear of a new NFC "Big Brother".... since apparently the role of the "Little Brother" has been us the last few seasons.

Just trying to see how everyone else felt about this. Would something like sharing intel with our divisional rivals be acceptable? Thoughts?

Info like this is passed along pretty regular in the NFL.

plenty of coaches out there with friends, ex teammates, etc.....

willing to help a brother out and give them an edge........nothing new.

and definitely not a conspiracy.........
