I can not express the importance of warm socks and comfortable shoes.

My feet burned for hours after the game and I wore 2 pair of socks and good shoes.

Never knew it during the game because game but after when the adrenaline wore off i realized i was walking on two ice blocks.

It was god-awful cold.... went in with four layers of clothes, and still ended up buying a Panthers blanket for that game. The wind that day cut like a machete, and not even alcohol could help.

The plus side, is that I have a hell of a nice memento and good memories of us beating up on the Saints. Always a win there to see that!

I looked up the 10 coldest games the Panthers have played.  The coldest home game was in 2000 against the Saints.

but...the temp was only 30 degrees.

It was 2010, but yeah, the actual temp wasn't bad - it was the wind chill... was around zero that day. I just remember being cold to the bone, and I usually don't get cold easy.

I remember one game, certainly not in 2010, when it was REALLY cold as hell (I have a only a few years fro moving down from PA).

And also the Philly NFC title game in Philly was in the teens by the end of the game. I was frozen solid.  It might have been 33 for a high that day but it certainly wasn't at the end.

I think the link on the Panthers site might be coldest highs for the day, not game time temps.

I remember that game too...it was def the wind.

i remember the 2008 MNF game against the Bucs too...it was 32 degrees.  But, I was in shorts for that one...like someone posted above, alcohol is a great liquid blanket.

I went to the coldest game in Panthers history.  Thank god I had a blanket with me.  I was on the sunny side that day too. I can't imagine what it was like for those in the shade.

Yeah I think it was that Saints game around 2010 as well.  I enjoyed watching the stadium have a trickle migration from one side of the stadium to the other.  It was like 85% full on the sun side and 15% on the other near the end of that game.

Also, I guess none of you remember playing the Patriots the year Brady won his first in '01.  There was sleet that day.  We ended up not going only because I couldn't talk anyone into going with me for free.  15 losses in a row and could weather was too much I guess.

Yeah that was the game I was thinking about.  It says it was 30 but I thought it was like down in the teens.  Maybe it was that morning leading up to the game. We were given the tickets so we felt obligated to go.
