Raleigh or Fayetteville? Fville is a 3 hour drive to Charlotte. Raleigh is a little less I think.

I think raleigh and greenville/spartanburg are going to be in the same boat as charlotte ice-wise, and probably even more ill-equipped to handle it.

Yeah.  I seriously wouldn't count on flying into GSP at this point and time.  Upstate SC goes into full panic mode when 3 flakes fall out of the sky...I can't imagine how bad it could potentially get with this storm.

This. Might have to try to fly into Wilmington or Columbia or even Myrtle Beach.

Basically every other airport in NC or SC that you can fly into is fuged.

You guys could fly into Jacksonville, FL . Definitely no snow. However you will have a 6 hour drive. Is it worth it to you? I don't know. The other option is Atlanta. I don't think they are expecting anything too significant.   Just book your returning flights from Charlotte of course. Good luck!

Got a extra ticket for Sunday?  Land in PA tomorrow. I have 2 snowmobiles.  We can ride the rest of the way.

Ha if I had to land near by and someone was willing to get me to Charlotte I'd buy them a ticket for sure.

 

Well if the Cardinals aren't changing their traveling plans and still planning to arrive Saturday morning I have to think they'll have that runway cleared. If it's good enough for the Cards it's definitely good enough for the peasants
