Snow Storm Saturday?

A co-worker just told me that Jim Cantore said he didn't see anyway this game is happening on Sunday. (And before anyone asks, I don't have a link or an independent verification. This is complete and total hearsay so take it with a big ol grain of salt). Has anyone else heard that? Wouldn't it have to be near apocalyptic conditions for the NFL to move the game?

In Charlotte, like fugging idiots, at least that has been my experience. I worked with several over the years and they would always tell me they knew how to drive on ice because they were from NY. Every time, which wasn't often, we got snow or ice, they would always call in late to work because they had slid off the road.

There would have to be catastrophic conditions.

I mean the snow/ice is supposed to stop on Saturday. There are a full 24 hours between the last forecasted precipitation and game time. There is no reason why the game wouldn't happen. As long as the Cardinals can get to Charlotte, the game is going to happen and absolute worst case for the Cardinals is that they have to land somewhere south of Charlotte then take a bus north.

I grew up in Buffalo. I can drive in winter weather. But I would always wait until the sun was up just because of other people on the road who thought their 4-wheel drive would handle the ice okay at the posted speed. And they would end up stopped dead in the middle of the road on a slight hill. So with the sun up I could see them & go around them. Worse are the southerners who decide that none of the rules of the road apply when the weather is bad. Stop for a red light or stop sign? No way! Look before I turn left? Absolutely not! Drive down the middle of the road? Fine by me! UGH

This.....people seriously suck balls down south when it comes to driving in snow / ice.  I have driven in basically every storm that has hit us ( I used to have to work in Rain, snow, sun, Shine....did not matter ) and I never had an issue, even with just a basic front wheel drive car.  I will be out driving my wife around tomorrow morning and through the day to get her to her patients she has to see.  I dread the drive...not because the winter condition's but because of the other fuggin idiots that will be driving way to fast, not stopping soon enough and not being able to judge how fast to drive up hills.  Stupid....the whole lot of 'em.

Most people in Charlotte are from the north so if the city can't drive in snow you can't blame locals. The issue is almost always those who think that because they think they can drive in it that they can drive whatever speed they choose.
