Man these celebrity deaths are really starting to pick up steam.

Did he have a new album coming out? Just wondering since David Bowie has one, and Jimmy Page has one coming.

The Eagles were supposed to do the Kennedy Honors thing this year but had to decline due to Glenn's illness. They requested to play next year...

I saw Frey, Henley, Leadon and Meisner as Linda Ronstadt's backup band in 1972 and saw the Eagles for the first time at the original California Jam in 1974. Fast forward 21 years and I got to see them play 3 more times since their "Hell Freezes Over" tour. 

The first band I was truly interested in growing up and listened to all the time. The Eagles will never play together again once all the tributes are done, but Frey and the band left a lifetime of music for all of us to enjoy. 

Very sad, indeed. This one hit close to home.
