True but since in the past 5 years during the tenure of the majority of players and coaches on either side  we have face the Seahawks twice as many times as the Cards.

I can't find the article at the moment, but I read that many of the Seattle players were very gracious after the game, taking time to congratulate Carolina; Earl Thomas telling Cam, "About time! (you beat us)", other Seahawk players like Richard Sherman saying, "Go and win it all."

 

A far cry from the peon Falcons throwing a hissy fit after beating Carolina.

 

Respect to the Seahawk players, who recognize greatness because they have been there before.

I'm not surprised.  Last week Wilson said Cam was the MVP and Sherman defended Cam against haters for his dancing.   Also for the most part, the officials did a good job.  It was one of the better officiated games I've seen this year for the most part.  

I told my wife that if we didn't play the Seahawks so much the last 4 years, I'd probably like their team when they aren't playing against us.  A lot of us liked Wilson at NC State, for instance.

I have respect for that.......at the end of the day whether it is sport or business we all have to deal with the same issues and responsibilities in life.............there is no reason to act so tribal that we can't accept anyone after the contest is said and done.

Point of case.........there is no more intense competition for viewership than between television networks yet everyone of them took time out to acknowledge, appreciate and wish Chris Mortensen a recovery from cancer no matter who he worked for and what network it was reported on.

Happy someone started this thread. Being that they don't ever show the fighting on TV, you never know, at home, what's going on. I've gained respect for the players on the Seahawks just reading all of this.

not sound logic. we didn't have a steady QB until cam. Can't say the regime now doesn't know what they're doing because the past regime(s) flopped on Claussen etc etc. They're a well run organization. 

They got a new general manager who runs their draft named Steve Keim in 2014. How they drafted prior to that doesn't matter. They're a loaded team. They'll continue to be a factor.
