First Take - Confidence In The Panthers Was The Topic

Stephen A said he hasn't lost confidence because he's seen the Panthers let teams come back before. They find a way to win. The way this season is going it seems like it'll be Cam vs Brady

Skip however said he has lost a little bit confidence because we continue to let teams come back and this is all new territory for a team still in the middle of finding their identity. He also said the pressure no longer is on Cards after winning and they can now come into Carolina as the underdog

I saw the beginning of the show and all they gave was excuses in why Seattle lost....nothing about giving the Panthers any credit until 3 topics later and then they suddenly have confidence..

F*ck Stephen A and Skip Bayless...

Yeah we get that.

But this time, they didn't even say anything crazy.

Even Skip had to try hard to be dissenting, and it still wasn't that hard. So you can tell they were trying, and didn't really believe what he was saying.

That's why I said it. It wasn't even worth mentioning this time.

Let's be honest. Sometimes they're good at it. But not this time. LOL

That's true

To me, it's not worth mentioning at all since the show is scripted.

Since a lot of people believe that those two clowns, especially Skip, actually mean what they say, the show will stay on the air.

It's entertainment.

So they can stay on the air. It's fill time and gives many of us something to talk about.

Sometimes we have to remember that (it's entertainment-though, occasionally it's hard for some of us). LOL

Yeah. That's true.

Earlier in the show, they were going on and on about why Seattle lost, instead of what the Panthers did (or from a Panther perspective).

Don't worry. A few years from now (hopefully) they'll be riding the Panther Bandwagon, as Seattle can't win anymore once the highly paid Russell Wilson's "the leader". LOL

Let's see how the Hawks they love so much, do next year from the beginning of the season with out Lynch, and film on Rawls?

I have not watched BSPN since November. When Wilbon on PTI picked the Cowboys, even though he loves the Panthers (at the time) then didn't even talk about the game when they came back for the long weekend. So I have no idea what BSPN in on about and I don't really care.

Its their job to hit on anything that look remotely controversial , one guy makes point, another makes the counterpoint most of the time.

I used to watch first take like every day for 2010 football season but I got tired of it eventually Stephen A yells too much and too loudly every fuging show. And I find it interesting the network let him get away with cursing so much on live TV, not that I'm being a prude but saying everyone on the network should be held to the same standards.
