Finnegan and McClain

Coleman did not have the best game, but Wilson put the ball only where his receivers could catch. Seattle WRs may not be the most talented bunch but they are technically sound. They consistently drag their feet when close to the sidelines, make tough catches, and break from their routes when Wilson extends the play. Also, the defense called in the second half did not do McClain and Finnegan any favors. They were asked to play 7 yards off their man because coaches did not want to give up the big play.

There is a reason why McClain & Finnegan were not on a team and were available to play 4-weeks ago....However, they were the best available and the Panthers are going to have to figure out a way of keeping Fitzgerald and Floyd in check.  And that way is pressuring Carson so the d-line better bring their A-game.

Being down two starting Corners really sucks and we are still in the NFCCG....god i wish at least Bene was healthy....next year should be an even better season if that's even possible...the talent on this team is only going to go up man as we get our starters back on both sides and can EASILy upgrade the SS position.

I thought McClain played well for being a 7th Rd pick. He allowed 1 td but so did Norman. He didn't allow the big play. Actually played with attitude sort of like Norman today. The whole defense didn't play great 2nd half so you really can't put any blame on McClain

They are going to get picked on a lot next week, deep shots every play would be the guess, offense will have to make up for it next week.

I dont blame the team. Coaches put the breaks on and when you do that guys like that get picked on.

Finnegan and McClain sounds like a pair from a 80s cop movie. Finnegan seemed like he played well except for a few plays but McClain struggled a little bit. I think they would be better off moving McClain to the nickel seeing as Finnegan was once a premier CB in the league.

Outside of the top DBs in the league nobody is going to be good with the pass rush we had in the second half. It's the single biggest reason (other than Wilson's Hail Marys) that we sucked in the second half. 

 

They both played fine when we actually got pressure on Wilson.
