Finnegan and McClain

Have to be better next week, no questions asked.  They were really getting picked on in the second half today, the Cardinals have some damn good WR's and a really good passer.  I know I know 24 hour rule but this poo is serious now.  And I feel bad for them because they were both kind of thrown into the wolves.... a few months ago I bet they both wold have scoffed at you if you would have told them they would both be starting in the NFC Championship Game.  But here we are, I know one of them will step up.  Just got a feeling this season has been special.

Honestly though, the 'Seattle has no receivers' talk has been incorrect for some time now. Kearse, Baldwin, and Lockett have developed into some quality receivers that deserve recognition for some of Wilson's heroics.

I thought the DBs did fine considering that they were on the field for most of the second half, and McClain made some fantastic open-field tackles.

The wink link on the defense no doubt. But they all we have right now so no choice. The dline needs to bring the wood next week and keep old man Carson off his mark and on his ass. Can't give him a chance to pick on them.

Arizona's receivers are MUCH better.

Got to get things cleaned up in the secondary somehow.

If they were starter material (or even 2nd string)  they wouldn't have been available for us to pick up late in the season. Our weakness is the secondary and that's the way it is. The answer to the problem is to play like the 1st half Panthers instead of the 2nd half version and dominate the line .

Palmer is going to pelvic thrust them if we don't get a pass rush on him

and this won't be easy.  Cardinals have a much better Oline than Seattle... but then again Green Bay with their measly pass rush was able to get some pressure last night so who knows.  But also not trying to switch subjects..... Cam only had 164 total yards today.  I'm gonna predict he has a lot more next week.  Turn that boy loose.

They absolutely are, but if the offense scores ANY points and moves the ball at all in the second half this conversation isn't happening.
