Greg Hardy became a public embarrassment for the Cowboys throughout the season, and wasn’t much better behind closed doors.

Cowboys teammate and fellow defensive end Jeremy Mincey called Hardy “misunderstood” in a recent interview with KDFW-TV,  but said Hardy also hurt the Cowboys’ chemistry during a 4-12 season.

“Yeah, it grew. It grew. It definitely grew,” Mincey said when asked if Hardy’s tardiness to meetings led to more team tension.

“I hate it happened — you talk about a team that was so close-knit and tight, and all of a sudden it was just different. I wouldn’t say that he’s the reason for that happening, but sometimes change, sometimes if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. You know what I mean?

From what I've been reading, quite possibly no longer the Cowboys problem either.

And before anyone suggests it, no we aren't bringing him back and he won't play for free.

But Josh said he would and all the players want him back!

    • This was an emotional game for them. Nobody wants to be a loser and to be able to compete with the reigning champs is an emotional experience. I think Bryce’s speech seems to have been exactly the right time to make sure they continue to believe that they can play against anyone and win any game
    • Calls Spags "possibly one of the best DC's" in the league that will blitz and play man Felt there were moments in 2023 vs. GB where Bryce showed he was a pro QB Was not flukey; Bryce shredded KC through the air and played even better in the second half after the defense had made adjustments Made "jaw dropping throws" in the second half (the usual Bryce haters kept saying they were "normal" and "regular NFL" throws... hm... I'll take the word of a former NFL defender over a few disgruntled Huddlers) KC secondary was having issues that we weren't used to seeing and the guy that exposed it was the "little guy" that was benched 4th & 3 to Thielen "was incredible" At the end of Q3, the last throw he makes was one of his best throws all day according to Long Bryce was blitzed on 38% of his drop backs, was 11 of 13 for 135yds and a TD. Reviewed some of the issues KC is facing (secondary and tackle play, Pacheco + Omenihu out) Gave flowers to the KC kicker subbed in for Butker Shouted out Noah Gray for his performance
    • It was players that said it, to be fair.
