Yeah and for those saying its a culture move... what culture do we currently have that we are worried about messing up. Plus if chuba is the make or break for our culture... regardless, bad move. I would have preferred to let chuba walk, reduce sanders snaps to 0 since we couldn't showcase his no talent enough for a trade, and play chuba, brooks, play Dillon Johnson (on our practice squad), see what we have with the young guys, and make a decision in the offseason. -

You apparently doubted Chuba's future enough to draft his replacement but then decided you were wrong? I mean....I guess kudos on adapting on the fly but maybe focus more on making better offseason decisions. -
Starting calibur is not good enough. You can find that without giving up three picks for a guy who's going to miss a year. And those picks are critical given the current state of the roster. Brooks has to be elite or he is wasteful luxury pick for a franchise that can't afford it right now.
