Why Not Matt Moore

In 07 Moore looked decent in a pared down offense nothing moore. (Couldn't help it)

On sunday his passer rating was 33. In 2007 it was 67. How is that very good.

As for the womanless beauty pageant, I do have great legs!!

He looked good in a pared down offense which is more than we can say about Jake in the full offense. He's had 2-3 years now to learn it I'm willing to bet Moore knows the playbook now.

And why do you think that Fox had more faith in Jake in 2003? Because of what he saw in practice every day through camp and the preseason. The same things that he doesn't see in Moore every day. What do you think he sees that you guys are missing??

That's my point 55 Jake didn't have a good preseason. It was a competition and he lost to Peete. I don't know what he sees too have a QB on the roster that he doesn't want too use.

Knowing the playbook and knowing the defensive sets you will face, how to audibalize the plays to maximize your offense and then knowing where everyone will be on every play based on the defensive alignment is something else.

Then being able to know your players and being on the same page so you know what each other will do on each play plus have good timing with them is only accomplished through playing with them.

Again I guess you are smarter than the coach quarterback coach and O coordinator. If we put in Moore everything will be fine, right?? The O line will block better, no one will drop a pass and we will cruise to victory. They are wrong and you are right. Wonder why you are on this message board instead of coaching somewhere.

Don't know that was true. I have heard Fox said he was impressed with Jake but wanted to keep the positions of Peete as the starter and Weinke as the backup until Jake knew the offense. When you relieve the starter with a third stringer and bypass the backup, you are doing it because you have faith in the guy more than you do the backup. When you do it the first game you obviously aren't opposed to making a move. He likely had little faith in Peete or Weinke and was waiting to see what Jake could do. If Moore had come in Sunday and lit it up then we might have had a quarterback controversy. As it is, not too much.

And you think Jake does these things well?

Yes

Because I am the divine holy football spirit sent from Unitas himself to endow the huddle with his grace.

Look all I am saying is that it is complete bullshit that we have to be hindered because of Jake and I'm not just talking about the Philly game. I like Jake myself but I think he may need some time on the bench. He is the weakest link on offense and I think the years without stiff competition have really hurt his game. His problem is that he never improves, he always has the same faults and weaknesses. And imo his best game was at SD. Why? Because it forced him to look at other options, he couldn't just force it to Smith.

And Moore should get his chance before anyone else. Especially Feeley.
