Why Not Matt Moore

and you had to reply because you are also a dumbass eh?

Basically, there are a handful of posters here that post/do what you do, then circle-jerk each other while flaming anyone else who comes along to post. They could just skip the thread, but why do that when they can pop in and whine?

They'll insult your post count next or try to flame you on spelling mistakes.

lol, yeah, the post count thing is hilarious, usually goes something like this:

'you registered in 2008 and don't have 100 posts, you're not even a real panthers fan!'

It's not about reputation as much as it is about your experience in discussing matters. Whether or not you notice it, you learn what to say and what not to say when posting in order to keep a discussion civil and productive.

So, in regards to post count, it's about experience, not reputation.

If the Panthers had confidence in him he would have been our #2 not our emergency QB#3. Something is going on there, IMO

Do you trust our coaches' judgments on QBs? I don't. Just look at a few things:

1) Extended Jake contract this off season

2) Brought in David Carr...

i havent seen any "veteran experience or leadership" the last 2 games jake has played in..although i have seen 9 picks and 2 fumbles in the last 6 quarters..

that's what the quotes are for...

Moore deserves his chance. If we had a coach who allowed fair QB competitions in the offseason, panther fans wouldn't even remember how to pronounce 'Delhomme' by now.

Because Fox likes Veteran QB's. But now if Jake does bad, he really has no choice, I think.

Agree with this. I think in truth we have no real idea what Fox thinks of Moore's potential. He is going to stick with the veteran until that vet proves beyond a reasonable doubt that he cannot function. Fox might actually think that Moore is the future, but wants to wait until Jake is 37 or 38 before he hands the reins to Matt. Or he might think that Moore is a second or third stringer for his career.
